Landmark
Specific buildings throughout the city have been designated as Historical Landmarked structures. This means that the exterior façades have to be maintained in their original condition.
All landmarked buildings altering or repairing the façade, whether it’s discretionary or required due to hazardous conditions, must submit plans to the Landmark Commission for their review and approval prior to commencing. Upon their approval, a Landmark Permit is issued which would require detailed repair specifications and repair methodology.
Salamon Engineering has prepared and oversaw the construction of numerous projects of Landmarked buildings and structures. Having experience and thorough knowledge of the intricacies and preferences of the Landmark Commission is vital to successfully expedite any façade alterations approval.
