Inspections
In today’s Real Estate environment it’s important that you know what you’re getting or what you have. Salamon Engineering has provided its services to REITs (real estate investment firms) Banks, government agencies (Freddie Mac) as well as private investors to make decisions based on a professional engineer’s inspection of the structural and mechanical conditions.
SEG’s inspection reports provides a detailed description of the building including architectural, code compliance, structural, plumbing, electrical and heating systems and a summary of the building’s condition listing defects noted as well as a recommendation of repair method.
Inspections: Construction
While these inspections are performed out of a discretionary necessity, the NYC building Codes states that all work performed by contractors who obtained a Work Permit needs to be inspected and signed off by a licensed Professional Engineer or registered Architect. The intent of these inspections is to provide a system of quality assurance to the building management and to the New York City Building Department of the integrity of the completed work.
